Tokio Marine HCC International (TMHCCI), a subsidiary of the Tokio Marine HCC group of companies, has announced the promotion of Camilla Gower to Head of Marine and Energy Liability, effective April 1, 2025.

In this role, Gower will lead the team and drive growth in a key market for the carrier. She will report to Ben Kinder, Chief Underwriting Officer for Marine, Energy, and Renewables.

Gower brings 15 years of marine underwriting experience and has been with Tokio Marine HCC since 2020, most recently serving as Senior Underwriter – Marine & Energy Liability.

Prior to that, she served as Joint Head of Marine & Energy Liabilities at StarStone Insurance. Gower also held positions at CNA Hardy, Aegis, and WTW.

Ben Kinder commented, “Camilla has been a cornerstone of the Marine and Energy Liability team since she joined us in 2020, so was a natural fit for this leadership position. The team continues to go from strength to strength as we continue to assist businesses in an increasingly turbulent risk environment, and I look forward to working with Camilla as she navigates the team towards greater success.”
