Acrisure Re, the re/insurance division of global fintech company Acrisure, is expanding its capabilities with a number of appointments to its Corporate Advisory & Solutions (ARCAS) division.

The appointments include: Lauren Johnson, Head of Funds at Lloyd’s (FAL); Assad Negyal, Head of Pricing; David Ryan, Head of Exposure Management; and Lucas He, VP, Retrospective Solutions.

All appointments will report to Ben Canagaretna, Global Managing Director of ARCAS, who commented: “At ARCAS, we pride ourselves on providing genuine value-added services to clients through a team of leading subject matter experts. We continue to see immense opportunity in the Lloyd’s FAL market and have grown in this space to become one of the largest managers of third-party funds at Lloyd’s.

“As the market becomes more sophisticated, pricing and exposure management capabilities are a key differentiator, particularly for new entrants who are looking for guidance as they go through the maturity levels within the Lloyd’s framework. Johnson returned to ARCAS’s London team as Head of FAL after an 18-month stint at Wakam. She will lead the division’s growing Lloyd’s FAL capability, a key area of growth for the company.

The executive was previously a Vice President at ARCAS in 2021, and prior to that spent six years as Head of Lloyd’s and specialty analytics at Securis Investment Partners.

Negyal, who will be based in London, joined ARCAS in January as a pricing actuary. The executive has a long career history in the insurance industry, having held similar positions at Starr Insurance, Chubb Europe, Zurich Financial Services, Barbican, Odyssey Re and Lloyd’s.

Ryan, who has over 15 years of experience in the exposure management sector, joined the ARCAS London office in late 2024 to lead the exposure management team. He previously held similar positions at Talbot, Lloyd’s, and Willis Re.

Finally, He joined ARCAS in London in February to support the retrospective solutions offering. The executive brings several years of legacy and M&A experience, having previously worked at R&Q as a VP in the M&A division.

He previously served as a legacy M&A and actuarial specialist at Catalina. Before that, he held corporate development and M&A positions at Antares Reinsurance and JLT, respectively.
